Are you worried about the health and safety of your loved one while living at home?
- Independence is a beautiful thing! Most of us take it for granted, yet it is a basic human need. The ability to take care of oneself and perform everyday tasks promote good mental and physical health. However, due to illness and getting older, our abilities to function independently can be significantly diminished. As a result, assistance is required for healthcare, activities of daily living (ADL’s), and maintaining the home environment.
- The previous scenario described may not describe you, but a loved one for whom you are held responsible. After one has functioned independently most of their life, the impact of residing in a nursing home or assisted living facility can be devastating.
- Furthermore, health insurance/ third party payers often do not cover home caregiving. Even when they do, the type of assistance and the hours they will pay for are extremely limited. Our organization recognizes this dilemma and offers an innovative solution.
- When people need a caregiver, it is a common practice to seek individuals among family, friends, and acquaintances. If that does not yield results, we ask those we know to refer individuals that they know. We trust their judgment to refer people who are qualified and competent. The advantage is that someone is familiar with the potential caregiver so he or she is not a total stranger. Unfortunately, in many cases, these individuals are not properly prepared or screened prior to assuming the caregiver/helper position.
- We are not an employment agency, but a placement service. We find people that are willing to come to your home and assist you with the tasks that you or your loved one cannot do adequately. These are not just any people, but those who have been background checked, COVID-tested, urine drug-screened, and cleared for communicable diseases, such as Tuberculosis. We even ensure these individuals have the proper credentials, if required, such as CPR, First Aid, Alzheimer care, and Medication Technician certification.
- Once we successfully match the caregiver with the client, the agreement is strictly between those 2 parties and our job is done. However, the file will remain open for 6 months, just in case things do not work out to your satisfaction.
Our support enables individuals to reach their maximum potential!
What are the advantages of using our placement service as opposed to a healthcare agency?
1. A much broader selection of services offered.2. More flexibility with scheduling and time requirements. You will be able to offer short-term, long-term, or permanent work based on your needs.3. Caregivers sent out to you will already be properly screened with the appropriate training/certifications, if required.4. Less control and regulation over the agreements between you and your caregiver. 5. If you are a business, there will be more opportunities to hire employees, if needed.
We Support Everyone
Facilities
Are you the owner/manager of an assisted living, group home, or adult daycare facility? It can be extremely problematic when an employee does not show up for work or resigns suddenly without notice. You either must frantically hustle to replace them or take over the shift yourself which can be very inconvenient. For a small fee, we will send caregivers out to you who have been background-checked, health-screened, and are certified with CPR, First Aid, and Medication Technician. We also provide training for cognitive disorders, proper body mechanics when lifting clients, and other basic care tasks. Contracts can be established for short-term or long-term, PRN/as needed assignments, and even live-in employment. Those decisions are strictly between you and the caregiver. If you are not satisfied with the care provided, we will replace the individual as long as we are notified within 30 days. It is our mission to send you workers who provide quality and competent care while demonstrating compassion towards your residents.Caregivers
Are you a caregiver looking to work in a residential or private home environment? Hospitals and nursing homes can be wonderful places to work, but they are often chaotic and pose a greater risk of infecting you with diseases. Our organization will not only ensure you have the proper screenings and credentials, but will match you with individuals who have requested assistance for in their homes or businesses. The type of assistance provided is personal care, companion care, light housekeeping, accompanying to doctor’s appointments, and running small errands. If you only want to do housekeeping or errand running there are clients for you as well. Also, we refer caregivers to assisted living facilities, group homes, and adult day care who request assistance, short or long-term. Any certifications, such as CPR, First Aid, and Medication Technician can be provided if not already acquired. Please note, we are a placement service. We match caregivers with clients. We are not an employment agency. You will not be working for us. The agreements made are strictly between you and the client.Caregivers
We ensure caregivers are adequately trained in order to prepare them for situations and issues they will actually and potentially encounter. Knowledge is the key to positive outcomes.Clients
We provide educational resources for the families, if necessary, to increase understanding of what their loved ones are experiencing and the best type of care to meet their needs.Quality and Current Information
The education provided will always be from respected, highly-rated, and credible sources, such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Maryland Department of Aging, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and numerous other top-notched organizations.
Why should caregivers use our placement service as opposed to becoming employed with a healthcare agency?
- There is less control and regulation over the agreement between you and your client. More autonomy for you!
- More flexibility with the tasks you will perform. You tell us what you are willing or not willing to do and we match you with a client accordingly.
- More control with scheduling and time requirements. Work schedules are determined by you and the client. You will have the option of short-term, long-term, and permanent assignments.
- Our clients are private citizens and businesses who have requested caregiving and/or housekeeping services. They must complete an extensive questionnaire about their home or facility environment. In addition, a zoom or physical visit will be conducted prior to deploying the caregiver.
- You are sent out to each client as an independent contractor. If you choose to become an employee of one of our clients, that is strictly the decision for you and our client.
- Rewards are periodically given to those who demonstrate excellence in the care provided in the form of cash incentives, gift cards, and more!
